HELLO.

You know him, if you’re a friend. If you’re an avid sports reader, Rocky Hinds has been on my friends list for years to have recently noticed he plays for the Wichita Wild. It’s “pro” football to him, cool to me. I thought it was outdoors the entire time! It’s actually indoor football. He might be where it’s at. I hadn’t noticed. He could really go pro and join the NFL as a “free agent” though.

I read that a friend of his is now part of the NBA. He’ll be playing for the Nets. Brooklyn! Frankly, I’m tired of them. That’s majorly though! It’s close enough to be a part of in my eyes. Rocky’s played for USC and UNLV, with Matt Leinart. Here’s a factoid: Blake Griffin of the Clippers, whom I can’t stand, had a baby with his ex girlfriend, Emily Maynard. I didn’t really want her on the team, but I’ve gone to the games so I’m saying it’s okay. I’m in shock. I must have been in the dark for a long time.

OKAY, I have a juicy story. There are no pictures of ME balling up! I'm sad about it, really.

I have a player that has a good grip on the ball in my house! It's my brother, Jr. Luis Ruiz. I’ve got to a couple of his games for face time, Abraham Lincoln High School, Go Tigers! It gets intense.

He passes and runs! Good job Jr.

He’s played football too, QB, before the switch to basketball. I didn’t make Varsity. He did. Senior year, man. He plans to recover high school credits and go to college. West L.A. Community College seems like a good fit. A lot went on there for years; changes in administration and student services, such as additions to athletics and fresh faces. Go far and fly high is West's motto. Go Wild Cats!

Paloma Ruiz (second row from the back on the left, YES!) cheered for the Wild Cats, where Jr. plans to tryout for Basketball.

He has my full support. I did a little cheering, softball, and basketball not too long ago. I tried out for high school softball in between practice. I didn’t make it. There was scheduling conflict. I just wanted to get it in.

So, I’ve seen Rocky play. He’s not that fast. Rocky “I can make a life” Hinds struggles with a knee injury and will be playing Friday Feb. 28^th. I hope to see him well.

Warriors vs. Rockets

OMG! This game is presumptuous and kind of perfect. I'm liking it very much. The crowd is the most lively. Harden just scored. I forgot to give cred to #11 Klay Thompson. Yea, he's a babe on defense. I didn't get to see Steve Blake play. Darn it! Oh, brother. How does he do that? Remote remote. Time. For sure this game is elite. It feels like gold. I can have it. Over time or go home. It was humiliating for the family relation, but motivating because I was on my own. I wasn’t even expecting it. I wonder if you’ve felt discovered by an old song.  Ah, yes, the young people. I can’t find the song, but it wasn’t the Culo Remix with Pitbull and Lil John. Why do they make me feel bad?! If I hear any of her songs at the club, I’d freak of embarrassment. Really.

LeBron James, you don’t even know the man. I don’t know the man, but I see him posterized in some spots. He’s not local, go figure. He should have never signed with the Miami Heat, he can choose to be a free agent this season, which is great for me because I want to see him move. I must not be in agreeance with the nation, or culture, but I don’t know about that championship victory. It’s a good push. D-Wade and James did the world some good getting close to the stars and movie down at the Bahamas getaway. Would they let her if she wants a sip? The villan is gone according to Yahoo news, “LeBron: ‘At this point, I can’t see myself leaving Miami’”, that was exactly what I felt. Bahama weather, is it cold?

Affirmative action, what is it? No matter how much it’s given to us, it’s still unrecognizable, and we don’t know. What are the limits for people of color? One of many competitive minorities, thoughts, motives, moves, seats, criticism, reference, education, and money blah buddy blah blah blah. I can’t return! It sounds like a waste of time. It all gets too good. It’s saying keep going; Why don’t we push the envelope a little further, to talk about race? Let’s talk about race in California. So, an admission is discriminative. STALL!

All day I’ve been in the juices of discrimination; public knowledge, short term private life choices, and reputation gathering. “Let it go”, is always at the forefront of public school education, “I need to”. It’s a fight. Domestic volunteers and those forced into higher education, labor, professional workforce, are mainly, majorly Asian on one campus. International students are considered a large portion of admissions. That is where the money fills the gaps. Our seats are warm, hearts jewels, and high school education that much more valuable. There is a lot of importance in this move.

Obama has recently been slammed for not being a leader. That is not what ever student aims for, but for those that do, this is an important piece of legislation, actually even for those that don’t officially, like with a badge and all; it needs to come to term. I felt a speech coming on just now. There’s a lot that goes into it, presidency, votes, higher education, seating, postponements, vetoes, affirmative action. I just made a move. This is some good stuff. Latinos are now the dominant race in California this year. How is that cushion? It’s sitting alright. There is danger in this pot and I’m not sure many of us like to play. It is about moving people, but who wants to be moved? Have you ever been so fucked up by a song before that you’d read a news article to counter the effects? That just happened. The papas from Wingstop, fair enough America. Eat five. They’re thick and if you dip them in buttermilk, they taste delicious. The red ones are the fakest food colored ones I’ve ever ate, aside from the Tapatio Hot Sauce wings from Buffalo Wild Wings. Dad ate a few. They taste kinda good. The lemon pepper chicken wings are salty, ok.  And after double checking, kissing three bones, the BBQ flavored wings, are alright. Celery, celery, celery and carrot sticks! I hope I have extra in the fridge.
