Ok Master

A Haiku by me, enjoy...

Kitchen clean with mice,
Oven warm for fall,
The broken plate laughs.

Old Man Crush Move Over

I think my crush makes the old man cackle,
when he thinks of our love,
it's a great large turtle crush,
the thick shell is so hard,
he leads, but I wait to win him over
without his admiration,
because I can have him on my own,
He has to be all mine,
I will have a real turtle crush on the man I love.

The Truth About Prayer

I used to pray. Now I just know. I didn't pray great. Now if I could hold on to myself for just a second, I'm blessed with prayer. Thank God.

The Voices In My Head

I want to work. I see job openings and I want to apply. I even filled out a McDonald's application but closed the window after thinking of my mental state. My sister brought it up. She said the doctor said I couldn't work. Although that is true, the SSI office sent me a letter stating that I could work. I, and my mom, know that I can work. I have to ask my psychiatrist if it's okay and I need to tell the SSI office if and when I get a job. I see the psychiatrist every two weeks now starting two weeks ago. I only talk about my diet, the voices I hear, the connections and associations I make of the world, and about my days coping with the medication. The medication is to help calm or eliminate the voices I hear on a daily basis. The associations I make are in the world and I am in the world; So people of the world are affected, I think, by "television skin and organ television". The connection could be static or sweet sweet love making. The voices could be conflicted or direct and in love, hate, fear, shock, etc. They're very emotional and desperately cling to any and all reality to be concise. The medication doesn't stop them, really. The voices just get more organized, I feel, like organized crime or family. I am hopeful that I will work again and that this "set back", and I put this in quotation marks, because having voices linger about could be an advantage. I will get back to work. Whether it is me going back to Cal to finish my senior year or working for $8 -$10 an hour everyday for as long as I can, I will be responsible.

Fireflies and Monkeys

The flies land on my skin and I swat them away. The butterflies around my face, the attention I get, is wavy. I'm a source of energy like them. I'm sacred just like them. I live like them and I search for food, like them. I land, I fly, I am everything but a monkey. I'm so hungry, "wood fire grill". My tummy rumbling. All you can eat still, but I can't go. "Wood fire grill, wood fire grill, wood fire grill!!" Give me more space, not the insane asylum. Dealing with the riders that crave it; The night long ride 'till the morning, has me elated. Flowing social restraints unlocked, picked for a time. Funky demon rider bubble wand girl is here to unite.

Canelo Alvares vs Liam Smith

I'm rooting for Canelo, but I see that Liam has a good shot at really messing Canelo up. It's going to be a fun night of boxing and Wingstop.

Go Clippers, GO!

I'm going to two Clippers games in October.

Let's Go Los Angeles Rams

                  Rams Scrimmage Family Day Game

I went to the Los Angeles Rams scrimmage and pre-season football game. It was hot and I got sunburned. I wore my sunglasses the entire time. I sat where I wanted for the scrimmage game since it was general admission. I went to the pre-season game to catch the game and it went sweet. I didn't get sunburned that day. I ate the best seven dollar bag of popcorn and lemonade. The turkey dog was great too. It was ten dollars. I said I wasn't going to buy lemonade again after the scrimmage game because the lemonade was too watery, but the second time was better. So, I look forward to it again. There were a lot of vendors on the street selling soda, water, and bacon wrapped hotdogs. I went to the cheese steak restaurant across the street from the coliseum. I spent another ten dollars there, but it was closing time and they hooked me up with a free large drink. The streets were closed and I had to walk further out, three blocks, to catch an Uber ride home. I had my gold and blue pompons, which I shook and waved during the game. I'm happy they won. I haven't been keeping up with the games, since I already went to the important openers.

I bought this hat from a guy selling them on the street.
I beat the heat in these shades and hat.

My $10 turkey dog
This $7 popcorn was delicious. I'd buy it again.

The Walking Dead

I've been watching The Walking Dead for a few days now and every time I chill to watch it, on my phone, I get the scary feeling that I'm next. It's scary!! I know the show is about dead people and all, but I just can't get over the chase. Every time I see a "walker" running after the living I get scared in my skin. It scares me that although the "walkers" are considered dead, they can't really die unless you stab, shoot, or smash, their brains in. No one can get bit or they catch a fever which can kill them and turn them into a "walker". The adults all have to be armed and the children have to be at eyes view at all times. The suspense is gripping. The plays are careful and important to surviving people. I finished watching season one. I'm on season two now. The fear factor is the dead, the living, and every thing, really. Although it's fiction, I feel like it happened in real life already. Life now looks and feels like I'm in an episode of "The Walking Dead". It's simply short of ire, and full of potential. I'm surviving these coming episodes. WILL YOU?!

I Have Two Birds

I have two birds I love. They're both male and I notice they like to kiss each other. They can't be feeding each other like a momma bird does her young, could they? They peck at each other's feathery body all the time. They really do love each other; And as much as I love "eachother", it's not proper English. I'm hopeful. I think they're gay. I will still love life.

There's La Rosa de Guadalupe

I watch this novela with my mom. It's the best show for chilling and getting a lot of drama in your life. It's exciting and true.

Monkey Butt and Gum

It was hard to get away. I pulled on my sweatshirt and with a final tug, I fell to the floor. They left me alone, but before leaving they shouted a nickname, "Monkey Butt". I stared at the gum on my sweater. It was an off white color. I left the playground and went home. The walk was pleasant, moving my arms forward and backwards; Really feeling the motion of my sweater on my arm skin. I tugged, pulled, and picked at my sweater for comfort. I put my own chewing gum in my mouth and glared at the mushy gum that was stuck on my sweater. The sweater wasn't my favorite, but it kept me warm. I am excited to pick at it and wash it in a load of laundry, finally. I'm sitting doing my homework, when all of a sudden, the laundry was done. I don't see the piece of wet mushy gum. I put it in the dryer. I wear the sweater for my birthday, the next day, I took it off to play soccer. I couldn't score a goal, like a couple of the guys. Maybe I'd be better being the goalie. I get picked on for being average. I'm sure if I wasn't,  "Monkey Butt", I'd score a goal. This gave me the idea of a lifetime. I have to be someone else! I grabbed my sweater, went home after school, and started making a list of names. I came up with a few that really got me pumped up: "Wicked, Slider, Slow Poke, and Cool Kid." I thought being playful would make me popular. I was picked last in softball. I wrote my nickname on a nametag and hoped I'd hear it called out loud. I picked, "Slider". I struck out. I had to eat my lunch in a corner table far away from any cool conversation, by the table with kids using their cell phones. I chose, "Slow Poke", for soccer today and I heard it. My name tag didn't let me down. I chose, "Cool Kid", for Basketball practice during lunch the next day. I have heard, "Monkey Butt", but I've only been wanting to rename myself more intensely. I wore my final nametag on New Years eve, "Wicked". My parents thought it was an idea I got from school teachers, but really it was all my idea for a double shot of social acceptance. I saved the nametag and thought I'd wear it on the first day of school. The Spring semester came and my mother had a nametag for me. It was a nametag with my real name on it. I wore it proudly and thanked my mom. The kids stared at me. I stared back. It was the first day of school and I had presented myself in class. My heart was proud and I knew the jerks were enjoying my mere existence. I didn't use the nametags anymore. I thought I'd earn a new nickname with time. Time went by and I heard lots of nicknames. I gave myself the credit for some, but others were given by others. I liked deciding which ones were for me and which were for others. Sharing nicknames is a pain, but it can be done.
